First of all, ambient music (from soothing Indian music, including mantras to electronic music: minimalist, ambient trance, downtempo, new-age), but also contemporary classical music and ethnic / world music (mainly Celtic, Andean and Arabic music, but also e.g. Portuguese fado, various forms of flamenco, tango nuevo, jazz, blues, etc.). During the holiday season, I often listen to choral music, which I remember fondly from my childhood (Berliner Mozartchor, Münchner Symphoniker, Leipziger Thomanerchor i in.). With soothing music, I like not only to relax, but also to work. Interesting fact: when I was 4 years old, I played a fragment of a Mozart piece on the organ „by ear”, but I never learned to play from notes. My parents and husband believe that I can have perfect pitch… but I remain a bit skeptical in this matter, although I „feel” sounds very much and always hit them. Fake ones have ugly colors 😉
